1. High wear resistance
The chemical composition of the wear-resistant layer contains 3-5% carbon and 25-40% chromium. The volume fraction of Cr7C3 carbide in the metallographic structure is more than 50%, the macro-hardness is HRC58-62, and the hardness of chromium carbide is HV1400-1800, which is higher than that of quartz in sandstone.
 
The wear resistance of the wear-resistant clad steel sheet produced by Beimu is 5-6 times that of heat-treated wear-resistant steel, 5-6 times that of stainless steel, 5-6 times that of high manganese steel and 11 times that of 16Mn (abrasive wear test data at room temperature). As the carbides are distributed vertically in the wear direction, the wear resistance of the cast alloys with the same composition and hardness is more than doubled, which is much higher than that of spray welding and thermal spraying.
 
2. Good impact resistance.
The base plate of wear-resistant clad steel sheet is tough material such as low carbon steel or low alloy steel, which embodies the superiority of bimetal. The wear-resistant layer resists the wear of wear medium and the base plate bears the load of medium, so it has good impact resistance. It can withstand the impact and wear of high drop hopper and other industrial and mining conditions in the material delivery system.
 
3, convenient processing performance
Wear-resistant clad steel plate can be cut, leveled, punched, bent and crimped, it can be made into flat, arc plate, cone plate, cylinder. The cutting composite boards can be welded into various engineering structures or parts. The composite plate can also be heated to form complex shapes with the touch tool. The wear-resistant composite steel plate can be fixed on the equipment by bolts or welding, and the replacement and maintenance are convenient.
 
4, high price performance ratio
Although the manufacturing cost of the wear-resistant clad steel sheet is increased, the service life is increased several times, which greatly reduces the maintenance cost and downtime loss.
